Spouse visa is not limited to certain work areas so when switching jobs you don’t have to go through the paperwork of changing the visa.
Also if you loose your job but your marriage is still on, there isn’t any problem, you can take your time finding a new job. (else, if you haven’t found a new job on an engineer visa and your visa has expired, you are asked to leave)
