  1. Hey w00kie – thanks for the Internet tethering advice. As for the new 3GS, is there any way of ‘upgrading’/’exchanging’ my current 3G (for which I am in the middle of paying by instalments), or would I just have to have both?(nb I am in Japan).

  2. I think your only option would be to pay up your current iPhone 3G in full (which will be expensive), then take the new 3G S

since you still have 1 year of engagement left, you would might not be able to score the campaign price which comes with a 2 year contract and so would have to pay the full price on your new unit (like 80.000 or something)

I really don’t think it’s worth the money and trouble…

  3. Yea, I think so too. The camera and video improvements aren’t really that worth it for me, so I think I’ll stick with what I’ve got. Thanks for the advice again.
ps A few hours after reading about your job at Valeo I was in a service station and found I needed to replace a windscreen wiper – you’ll never guess which company’s name was on the replacement!

  4. I would like to get the 3GS but only 5 months in of a 2yrs contract. However, I have paid in full for the 3G phone upfront when I signed up.
Does anyone know if I qualify for the promo 2yr price for the 3GS?
